refreshing drink thai massages delicious breakfast historic building

The welcome drink I had on arrival was so good. Thai massages were available in room. The breakfast overlooking the river was delicious. The building was historic, constructed in 1908 by a royal prince. The gardens, pond, gazebo, walkways and pool gave the place a boutique feel. I found the location perfect for sightseeing.

There was heavy boat traffic on the river and also during night hours, because the hotel is close to the river.

high price river traffic

The pool was a welcome bonus after a hot day. It provided a good way to cool off.

The cost of dinner seemed high for what was offered. also, river traffic created noise, especially at night. this made restful sleep difficult. It became quite bothersome.

Good Location , But Some Drawbacks

The staff were kind. The breakfast options were various. On the last day, the chef cooked a traditional thai breakfast with fried rice and pork.

The boat traffic created A LOT of noise , even at night , because the hotel is directly on the river. The dinner price was HIGH. I found the room to be somewhat lacking.

The breakfast by the river was very nice. The hotel area felt calm and green. As a solo traveller, safety is important to me. I safe area here.

There was a lot of boat traffic on the river. The noise continued into the night because the hotel is directly on the river.
